Charisma Southerland, 2024 Canopy Realtor® Association/Canopy MLS president, will make opening remarks.

The briefing will be presented by Anne Marie DeCatsye, CEO and Michele McCaskill, VP of Risk Management and Assistant General Counsel.

• An overview of the current legal landscape and impact of the lawsuits
• Information shared at NAR’s Legislative Meetings
• Required practice changes, compliance and navigating compensation  
• Canopy MLS will be opting-in and implementing practice changes by August 17
• The value of the MLS and its relevancy beyond compensation

• What Realtors® can do to articulate their value
• The benefits of belonging to local, state and national associations
• How Canopy is supporting firms through these times, as well as educating consumers on the value a Realtor® brings to each real estate transaction.
