  • 8:00 – 8:30 a.m.:  Arrive at your assigned housing nonprofit
  • 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.:  Volunteer efforts underway
  • 12:00 p.m.:  Arrive at Canopy Headquarters
  • 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.:  Share your experiences from that nonprofit over lunch!

Event Description

Project R.E.A.C.H. (Realtors® Engaging and Creating Hope) is a hands-on group community service experience created by Canopy Housing Foundation.

Realtor® members engage in a planned volunteer activity with 20-25 other Realtors® at one of five different nonprofit organizations that impact housing in the Charlotte area. Afterward, volunteers regroup over lunch to share the day’s experiences.

The five nonprofit organizations we are helping that day are:

  • Another Chance House of Refuge
  • Camino Health Center
  • She Built This City
  • Shining Hope Farms
  • Supportive Housing Communities

In an effort to ensure that all sites have adequate volunteer coverage, the Canopy Housing Foundation reserves the right to assign volunteers to the sites.  Unfortunately, we will not be able to honor requests for placements.
