Canopy’s Call for Donations Continues to Help Members and Residents in Western N.C with a Focus on Collecting Clothing and Supplies to Prepare for Colder Weather. 
Immediate needs include: Clothing for infants and children (new clothing please), blankets, socks, gloves, mittens, hats, sweaters and coats.

Canopy's Diversity and Inclusion Alliance E3 Summit will highlight the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion within the real estate industry as well as address the importance of fostering inclusive cultures within firms. Goals and focus for the Summit:

  • Expose members to opportunities to expand their business, reach untapped markets and reap the benefits of inclusive leadership.
  • Educate Realtors® about obstacles to homeownership and solutions to narrow gaps among diverse groups.
  • Provide members with an opportunity to make powerful connections with inclusive leaders and engage in new ways to be a champion for diversity, equity and inclusion in our communities.
  • Explore inclusive marketing strategies to empower firms and agents to standout in an increasingly competitive market.
  • Engage in an interactive activity and network with attendees to build rapport among colleagues.

Session 1: Meet Your Next Client: Unlocking Opportunities in Diverse Markets

Join Freddie Mac to hear about trends and factors impacting homebuying activity.  As housing prices continue to rise and entry-level inventory remains at historically low levels, discover solutions that fit unique borrower needs and help achieve the dream of homeownership.This session will highlight homebuying barriers and consumer needs to better prepare firms and agents to work with underserved communities. Learn how to use Freddie Mac’s resources and affordable housing solutions to strengthen communities and foster business growth.

The homebuying process is complex, but for individuals in underrepresented communities the hurdles can be even more daunting.   Realtor.com® is extending the reach of its buyer representation campaign with the launch of new, customizable assets promoting the benefits of buyer's agents for individuals in historically underserved real estate communities.  Learn about fair housing initiatives and resources available to support the industry, Realtors®, and ALL consumers.

Learn about the benefits of inclusive marketing, the importance of understanding your audience, creating inclusive content, and advertising practices.
